Practicing for a watercolor/collage-based comic where I'm taking glamour-fashion style drawings/characters and laying them on top of historical black and white photo backgrounds from the turn of the century. The idea is to use vintage imagery that is Jazz Age / burlesque-inspired, and make a superhero-genre satire about sexualit(ies) in a modern comic book format. Practicing a few studies on the 1950s pinup style of drawing/painting, as well as the style of Communist propoganda art from China and Soviet Union. Doing a few watercolors every week to get better at technique. ===

Had an amazing day today, with aerial practice, music making, and a bit of art. Also finished an article, for which I will be paid, and did a one-hour domination gig. Living up to my 4 hours of writing (or 500+ words per day) standard. Realize that I feel extremely blessed and happy right now: I am doing exactly what I love, with utter freedom, and improving my artistic practice, but still making enough money in my spare time to not have to worry at all... I think things are progressing in the right direction. === In SW news, UN Woman released an awesome statement disambiguating sex work from human trafficking, and defending the decriminalization of sex work in the interest of protecting sex workers from violence: http://www.nswp.org/news-story/un-women-reaffirm-they-stand-sex-workers-sex-work-not-trafficking
